The Art of Having your Heart Cared For

In this world where instant gratification is prevalent, where peace is scarce and hope is far off. There is a place we call Home that brings hope and joy to all. Some call this Heaven and others call it the place of God. When we call on Him and he responds with love, our hearts have been cared for by God in a way which only He can. This peace is a place of rest and this peace is a place of God meeting with us in our great wanting and longing for love. This is not a desire that can’t be meet. This is a desire that will come to fruition in time. We just need to rest.

What is this place of rest and peace? The place where God takes us into His arms and we are surrounded by God’s hopes and He takes us by his hand and leads us to the place of rest in His love. It’s where we know we are cared for, in that He will always bear our burdens and carry our transgressions.

Our transgression is our sin. Our sin is his to bear in love. Yet what is a promise of perfect love if not to take away our hope to sin and get away with it. So what of your heart? Isn’t it a reservoir of love for God to draw out of, with love for you. That’s right, a place of hope and dreams will it be. A place of letting God tell you He is your provider and healer and portion and providence and protector and friend.

These are names of God, to heal and deliver are attributes of a creator who loves. This love will always allow you to remedy a situation in God’s timing and he will never allow you to settle for loss and defeat. This peace is my only way of hearing God.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” James 3:17. There is none like our God. There is only one who will surely give us all we need in life. This is where we need our hearts to be without deceit and envy and greed and malice and slander. All of which will give you fruit that endures only for a while and yet leaves you feeling bitter.

Yet what of your heart? Is it in love with each other in a way which brings complete surrender? Is it in love with God in a way which brings hope to your soul? Are you sure of your salvation and fearing not the place of Hell? Is it ending in God’s love for humanity and caring for those who are lost. This is the call of a follower of God’s son, Jesus. This place is called heaven.

We are not allowed to judge others. We are now caught in a place where God is judge and we are His people. Bringing our lives before the throne in humble surrender and allowing him to set our feet upon the rock. It’s a place of pure and unadulterated love. That is sure heaven.

What grace and peace there be for this, that you love. That is life, that you live in a way which brings God’s people praise from heaven. This will always hear your heart, God in heaven is listening for those who call out for God with a heart of joy. Joy and peace are heavens economy. These allow God to bless and lift up his children with a purpose of showing favour to those who’s hearts are set on this, giving praise and glorifying God.

To end, I want to highlight God will not be afraid of punishing the wicked or bringing judgement to the wretched and warped generation as of Sodom and of Gomorrah. This is not a warning of great magnitude or a presence for those who do what is right in their eyes. Rather there is grace and love for those in need. There is hope and perfect love for the needy and the lost. The one who gave the stars their place will also give you a place of grace today as you follow Him. So as you give your heart to Him in love, also give him your heart as a well that gives and serves and loves his people.

Found in the Arms of Grace

I was use to walking along the road with no one to guide me in which way I was to go. Now I see the way is a narrow road, not broad, that leads to life (John 7:13-14). I am able to see a piece of grace as a gift from God’s hand, not a limitation that restricts me from seeing his love. So I press forward toward the goal of receiving Christ as my inheritance. This I do, forget what is behind and press forward toward the heavenly calling we have in God’s son Jesus (Philippians 3:14).  For I was once lost in sin, unable to see, deaf from all the drowning noise of chaos and lost in my own pride of life. I thought I was alone because there was no one who could save me. Yet I was only dead due to a decision to forget who I as made to be. I am now in the light, not of life alone, but also of God’s grace. I leave my baggage of tormented soul to enter a new age of transformation. Like a butterfly I used to crawl, now I saw above the wind and lift up above the waves.  In the start o...

Favoured

Now the favour in your life will carry you so far. Where will it carry you? To love. Now love looks like something. Often love takes the form of submission to another and their will. Yet coming to know the one who made you is the first step in coming to favour that flows.  Rivers start with a trickle and end in a stream. The collective of so many droplets of water can cause the stream to bulge, bursting its banks. This bulging can be related to the formation of character in our soul. This soul flooded with love is favour again and again pouring through.  The first part of love is to see we are made in the image of God and then made for His glory. These two cement the first of which is grace upon grace then acting upon this revelation, we all seek the glory of God. So what is the power we seek? Is it just that we are to be known by Him and make Him known by love? Let’s look at this.  It’s profound that love can take us deeper into the foundation of the gospel. Love can fin...

Way Maker - Art of Letting Go and Allowing God to Secure your Life in Him

Photo by  Osman Rana  on  Unsplash Words and fear have links that lead to going down the wrong path too easily. Where as we know that God can lead us into circumstances that prosper us and not harm our soul if we trust Him. This article is focusing on Him and our response to His way to gain fruitful interactions with others. Let’s explore this topic. First, I want to explore the topic of grace. Grace can take many forms. It has my hand, it takes my hand, I hold on to the grace of Him who makes a way. See I look for God’s grace and yet he extends it to me. I search for grace and yet it looks for my love. I open up myself to it yet I search only in Him I seek. Yet grace doesn’t over extend itself to me. I need to accept it and I have trouble if I don’t. So I conclude this paragraph saying I am not alone in this struggle to serve others. I seek Him to unveil my grace to others. Second, the topic of grace enables us to serve others in a way that give people a choic...
