Grace at the Heart

 Grace at the Heart

Difference between grace and the worlds offering of acceptance alone is He will always be with you, never leave you nor forsake. Neither will His heart run from your work in Him. His hands are always open and ready to accept you as a son. His open arms are a symbol of His acceptance and His adoration towards you. This is where we, as children can run into the Fathers heart and find Him there for us. At the centre there is grace in His heart.

Now are we to walk away from this love and live alone? Are we to see Him as angry for our failure to recognise Him? Not one bit. His love extends beyond the sea and His faithful grace comes to us in our need. Only when we use our hands, which are weak and feeble to honour the Lord will our minds be united in Him. Let me explain practically.

Where we decide to give our time and our effort to building a community of followers for God, there is choice. One would say we have to obey God only and others say we have a choice in the matter. One would say we have a Father who loves us and will give us all we want in life, while we are still in debt our love is made perfect in Him. Others still yet have much to worry about and this gives them esteem issues. So what are we to do?

We have only one way, that is Him. Our fear of not having a Father who loves, leaves a deficit in us. Yet who can reconcile this void? Who can seek to establish his covenant of grace again? It’s as if we were at sea on a desert island and He has given much wisdom to his people. Yet only He truely knows why we are a drift from Him. Only that it’s not an island it’s called braking a godly covenant with a holy God. This needs a holy sacrifice of which we have in Christ.

A son who knew no sin, took the sins of the world, so that we could have life. Now isn’t this grace. God gave us the ability to live perfect lives in the perfect love of a God who loves us dearly. Even his name, Jehovah Jireh, Provider means grace. That he made a place for you and I to sit with Him in peace giving us access to Him all day and all night was His plan from the beginning of time.

This peace we have access to, and will always be in the power to hold and pursue with vigorous love, will give us security and peace that He is our source and supplier of grace. It’s not in our love for other people or their love for us. It’s not as a weapon to be wielded around as a threat for non-conformance or resistance. Our heart is made to unite with His. It’s also made to love others as our selves too.

The presence of love will always lead you to know the Father greater than before. This is why we seek to rectify our mistakes wrongfully alone and need only to realise it’s by His blood we are clean and it’s through Him we are healed. It’s not of our own effort that we are to be witnesses of his great love. Not even one part of the Law will be done away with, only fulfilled through Him. That is God’s heart that we all are able to see Him in His son. Jesus and through Him be sanctified and set apart for His good work. This grace is known as sanctification and the work, as fortified heart of God, is that we believe in Jesus to save us.

Found in the Arms of Grace

I was use to walking along the road with no one to guide me in which way I was to go. Now I see the way is a narrow road, not broad, that leads to life (John 7:13-14). I am able to see a piece of grace as a gift from God’s hand, not a limitation that restricts me from seeing his love. So I press forward toward the goal of receiving Christ as my inheritance. This I do, forget what is behind and press forward toward the heavenly calling we have in God’s son Jesus (Philippians 3:14).  For I was once lost in sin, unable to see, deaf from all the drowning noise of chaos and lost in my own pride of life. I thought I was alone because there was no one who could save me. Yet I was only dead due to a decision to forget who I as made to be. I am now in the light, not of life alone, but also of God’s grace. I leave my baggage of tormented soul to enter a new age of transformation. Like a butterfly I used to crawl, now I saw above the wind and lift up above the waves.  In the start o...

Favoured

Now the favour in your life will carry you so far. Where will it carry you? To love. Now love looks like something. Often love takes the form of submission to another and their will. Yet coming to know the one who made you is the first step in coming to favour that flows.  Rivers start with a trickle and end in a stream. The collective of so many droplets of water can cause the stream to bulge, bursting its banks. This bulging can be related to the formation of character in our soul. This soul flooded with love is favour again and again pouring through.  The first part of love is to see we are made in the image of God and then made for His glory. These two cement the first of which is grace upon grace then acting upon this revelation, we all seek the glory of God. So what is the power we seek? Is it just that we are to be known by Him and make Him known by love? Let’s look at this.  It’s profound that love can take us deeper into the foundation of the gospel. Love can fin...

Way Maker - Art of Letting Go and Allowing God to Secure your Life in Him

Photo by  Osman Rana  on  Unsplash Words and fear have links that lead to going down the wrong path too easily. Where as we know that God can lead us into circumstances that prosper us and not harm our soul if we trust Him. This article is focusing on Him and our response to His way to gain fruitful interactions with others. Let’s explore this topic. First, I want to explore the topic of grace. Grace can take many forms. It has my hand, it takes my hand, I hold on to the grace of Him who makes a way. See I look for God’s grace and yet he extends it to me. I search for grace and yet it looks for my love. I open up myself to it yet I search only in Him I seek. Yet grace doesn’t over extend itself to me. I need to accept it and I have trouble if I don’t. So I conclude this paragraph saying I am not alone in this struggle to serve others. I seek Him to unveil my grace to others. Second, the topic of grace enables us to serve others in a way that give people a choic...
